Ok, don't want to offend anyone with this post, so if you have strong religious or spiritualist beliefs, it may be best if you don't read any further.
Today I visited a clairvoyant. I have in the past had my tarot cards read and have always kept an open mind; infact I would describe myself as someone who wants to believe but needs some sort of proof - I'm a logical person and need 'evidence'. Anyway went to see this lady today, again with an open mind and not knowing what to expect.
She doesn't do cards or reads palms, but simply 'tunes into' spirit energy and passes on their messages. I'm always careful not to give out any information which can be 'picked up on' and expanded into, I really want them to tell me not the other way round. Anyway, within a couple of minutes this lady had 'connected' with my Nan. She described some health issues which my mother is currently receiving treatment for and said that Nan wished to send healing energy to her. So far so good. She went on to connect with an Aunt & Uncle, my Grandad and finally my Dad. She didn't give out random names asking if I knew a Tom, Dick or Harry? Infact she was very precise with the descriptions of the people she gave, even taking on their ailments.
There were also things that she couldn't have know. The fact that my sister & I were given a train set many years ago that we still have boxed, the name of our first family pet, the way my fater died etc.
Overall the message she wanted to give me was that I had been through an ordeal and although the 'practicalities' of it are complete there are still untied ends. My ex was described as a ball and chain that was slowing my progress towards my future and that he would always try to be in my life one way or another. I can choose to allow him back in if I want, there will be an opportunity in time, however, my future also shows another relationship should I choose to take that path. My Dad thinks it's time to 'get moving' to do something with my life, he apparently thinks that I am 'unfulfilled' in my job - Maybe she's been reading my blog??? My future is apparantly rosey, easier than the past 18 months for sure and within a year I will have a new home, job and love!! So watch this space, if she proves right I'll gladly pass on her number!!
So do I now believe? hmmmm still not sure, but intend to keep blogging, certainly for the next year anyway!

As someone who was raised in a 'spiritualist' family and with a mother who is still a registered healer at the age of 86years. I can tell you that there are more things in heaven than you will ever understand. As a shamanic practiser I have many experiences of 'spirit' as have many of my friends. I have clairvoyant friends who can be frighteningly accurate with their readings, not relying on Tarot but just on their inherent instinct. If you believe that good will happen then it will. If you have an open mind to all the forces of nature then you will, in time, be made aware of all your possibilities. The gift of understanding does not come to the sceptical, only to the open minded. Good luck on your journey.
